| Bio: | I am a Washington native who has spent a year here or there living other places such as Minnesota, Alaska, and Arizona. I am currently living in Seattle. Right now, I work for Starbucks on 1st Hill while taking classes at DeVry for my Bachelors of Game and Simulation Programming. Basically, it is math, physics and computer science. Exciting, I know! My current favorite games are EVE Online and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Some of my old, and all time, favorites include The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Fable: The Lost Chapters, the original Diablo, StarCraft and its expansion: Brood War, every iteration of the Unreal Tournament series, Castlevania V: Symphony of The Night, Arcanum, the original Final Fantasy, Tekken 3, the original Quake, Battlezone, Gothic, just about every Mega Man I ever played (I beat MM2 when I was only 8), and who could forget Final Fantasy 3? I am not as big of a fan of most of the other Final Fantasy games but I think I could easily fill a blog post with that, so I will save it for later. There are plenty more but I have played so many they all get a bit fuzzy at times. Although I do play a lot of video games, I enjoy plenty of other stuff as well. When I have the money to burn I love to go skiing. I enjoy movies, eating out (yeah, yeah cookie cutter fluff I know), shopping (both for clothes and gadgets!), reading, composing music, and a variety of other miscellaneous things. I hate being bored to the point that I will actually become quite depressed if I am stuck with nothing to do but watch TV. Generally, watching TV is an absolute last resort for me. If I do watch TV I almost always watch Sci-Fi, The Science Channel or the National Geographic Channel. Most TV shows, especially "reality TV" (which is such a huge oxymoron it boggles the mind) make me want to lobotomize myself with a rusty corkscrew; when I am not feeling homicidal toward the producers. In person I am somewhat of a coin toss. Depending on the situation I can be very gregarious or if I am feeling self conscious or nervous for whatever reason, I can be very quiet. In any case, once I warm up to the situation or the people I am generally the former. I admit that sometimes my nervousness comes out as excessive chatter, but then, I tend toward the hyper side. That is better than continual lethargy at least! :) Because of this, I tend to gravitate toward other active people. My friend Joe and I can have a lengthy discussion in a few seconds while everyone around us tries to figure out what the hell we just said. In summation, I am a hyper, intelligent, creative, geek with strong social tendencies! :) That is enough for now! | |||||
